The Negroni Slushy - Your New Favorite Cocktail
I have always been a huge fan of the classic Negroni cocktail. It's the prefect boozy libation to enjoy late at night in a dimly lit bar with friends. No matter the time of year, it is one of my go-to cocktails. That's why when Negroni Week comes around each year, I get so excited!
Negroni Week was started in 2013 by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, to raise money for charities around the world. What started out as a small organization has since grown to over 7,000 participating bars & restaurants and has raised over $1.5 million for charities world wide. I'll drink to that!
As much as I love the classic Negroni, there is always something fun about experimenting with new recipes. A few years ago my friend who was living in Chicago at the time, posted about a Negroni Slushy. Yes, a frozen Nergoni cocktail! Fun fact about me, when I was 9 years old I went on a cruise with my dad and became obsessed with virgin Pina Coladas. Maybe thatβs why as an adult I have a very special place in my heart for frozen cocktails.
When I saw that Negroni Slushy, I knew I had to find a way to recreate it. After many test batches, I finally landed on a recipe I love. Its the perfect boozy cocktail for summertime on the patio. Keep scrolling to get the recipe to your new favorite cocktail.
